Properties: Yellow or orange-red transparent viscous liquid with ammonia odor. Extremely easy to absorb water and carbon dioxide in the air. React with acids and generate the corresponding salts. Solidified at low temperature. Strong alkaline. Miscible with water, alcohols and ethers. Corrosive.
Boiling point 250οC, density 1.070, refractive index n20/D: 1.5120, flash point: 110οC.
Use: Mainly used as epoxy resin curing agent, crude oil demulsifier, mining auxiliary, lubricating grease additive, bentonite lubricant, non-cyanide plating additive and in the preparation of ion exchange resin.
